Swimsuit and beach bag.

Your ultimate boat day checklist — created by SELECT Boutique Agency

Spending a day on a yacht in Mallorca is one of the most memorable ways to experience the island. Whether you’re heading out with friends, family, or colleagues, being well-prepared can make your day at sea even more enjoyable. Here’s our curated checklist of what to bring on board — and what’s typically already taken care of.

Essentials

  • Swimsuit or swimwear – You’ll likely spend time swimming, sunbathing, or relaxing on deck.
  • Light cover-up or shirt – Ideal for sun protection or a casual lunch ashore.
  • Sunglasses – A must-have on the water. Consider a strap to keep them secure.
  • Reef-safe sunscreen – Protect your skin and the sea.
  • Hat or cap – Especially helpful for midday sun.
  • Shoes – While barefoot is standard on board, bring comfortable shoes if you plan to visit a restaurant or beach club during the day.

Personal Items

  • Phone and camera – For capturing those turquoise coves and golden hours.
  • Power bank – Power outlets may not always be available.
  • Waterproof pouch or dry bag – Useful for storing valuables.
  • ID or passport – Mandatory to carry on board in case of a control by maritime authorities.
  • Seasickness medication – Must be brought by guests; crew is not allowed to provide medications.
  • Towels – Usually included on most charter yachts, but please confirm with your broker.

Food & Drinks

  • Water and ice – Typically included.
  • Courtesy drinks or snacks – May be available depending on the yacht.
  • Lunch or catering – Can be arranged upon request.
  • Own provisions – Most yachts allow guests to bring their own food and drinks if preferred.

Our tip: Always ask your broker what’s included and what can be arranged. At SELECT Boutique Agency, we’re happy to take care of all provisioning details for you.

For Relaxing

  • Downloaded playlist – Most yachts offer Bluetooth sound systems, but internet may not always be reliable.
  • Book or e-reader – A calm anchorage and a good story pair beautifully.

Water Toys & Extras

Many yachts come equipped with fun extras like paddleboards, snorkeling gear, or a Seabob. Others allow you to add toys on request.

Don’t worry about packing water toys — just check with your broker. We’ll make sure the right gear is ready for you.
